He sets out for The Island of Time to go back so far in time and stop the sands from ever being created. The whole plot behind Warrior Within is The Prince trying to escape his fate.

The Dahaka is after The Prince to correct the timeline by killing The Prince. Despite The Prince reversing time so that he never really opened the HourGlass he did disrupt the flow of time. In Warrior Within an ancient powerful beast known as The Dahaka is chasing The Prince. In the end, The Prince reverses time far back enough so that he never had opened the HourGlass. The Prince and Farah then must fight to find the HourGlass and set back what once went wrong. Throughout the game The Prince meets Farah, a woman taken captive by The Princes father.

The Prince is forced to kill those which he once fought with using the Dagger of Time to absorb the sand. The Sands are released and all but three people are turned into monsters by the Sands. The Prince is later tricked into opening The HourGlass in which the Sands of Time are encased.

The Dagger is capable of disrupting the flow of time giving the Prince the power to rewind, slow down, and increase the flow of time. Storyline In the Sands of Time The Prince, trying to impress his father, steals a weapon known as the Dagger of Time from the Maharajah.
